Do you have a physical brick and mortar establishment?
We have two stores located at Heritage Square in Granger, Indiana: Ashley Rene’s Prom and Pageant and Ashley Rene’s Couture. We have been in business for nearly 15 years. We have two beautiful showroom totaling over 7,000 sq. ft. and professional stage lighting dedicated to prom and pageant. Here at Ashley Rene's we offer a friendly and fun environment with a knowledgeable staff that will give you a one-on-one personal experience to help you find the perfect dress. We also have a shoe and jewelry department making Ashley Rene's your one-stop-shop for all things prom and pageant!
Do I need an appointment?
*DUE TO COVID-19 WE ARE REQUIRING APPOINTMENT ONLY SHOPPING & PICK-UPS AT THIS TIME UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*
No appointments are required for Prom, Snowball, Winter Formals, or other social occasion events. We do, however, recommend appointments for those who are shopping for pageant gowns. If you are wanting to shop our couture gowns at Ashley Rene’s Couture an appointment is required. Our Couture store is open by advance appointment only.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Debit Cards, and Cash.
Do you have Layaway?
Yes we offer a free layaway program but you can only put items into layaway that are currently in stock at our store. We require a 50% down initial deposit and a payment every 30 days, up to 90 days. Please see store for more details.
If I order the wrong size gown will you take it back or let me exchange it?
Our experienced staff will work with you to find the correct size we recommend. Ultimately, the decision on the size you want to order is completely up to you and your preference. Once a size has been chosen the gown is yours and all sales will be final. This final sales policy is consistent with the formal wear industry standards. See our Online Sales Policy for more details.
When is the best time to start shopping for my prom dress?
It is never too early to start shopping! By January, we will have all of our new lines coming in for the season. We always suggest to our customers to shop early to ensure that you get your most favorite dress!
Do you register gowns that are purchased?
No, we do not. We are no longer registering dresses due to the inability to control internet sales, including our own online store.
Do I have to pay sales tax if I am from out of state?
Only those items shipped inside the state of Indiana will be charged Indiana Sales Tax of 7%. All other shipments outside of Indiana will not be charged sales tax.
Can I purchase over the phone?
Absolutely! We are happy to check stock and/or place an order over the phone. If you have any questions about doing so, please give us as call at 574-522-7766.
How long does it take to get my special order?
Ashley Rene's will give you an estimated ship date when the order is placed. It typically will take 7-10 business days for your item to arrive to our store. For international shipping, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, timeline, and pricing. We offer free ground shipping on orders over $100 anywhere in the US. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge.
Do you rent or take prom gowns on consignment?
No, we do not rent or consign gowns. We do, however, have a great selection of gowns to purchase at our store or online!
What sizes do you carry?
We carry sizes 00-26 in store. We can, however, special order up to a size 30 from select designers. One thing that differentiates Ashley Rene's from other stores is that we do not charge our customers a Plus Size fee.
What designers do you carry?
At this time we carry Sherri Hill, Sherri Hill Couture, ASHLEYlauren, Jovani, Mac Duggal, Rachel Allan, Faviana, Ellie Wilde, Primavera, Alyce Paris, Madison James, Fernando Wong, Juan Carlos, Jessica Angel, Alisha Hill, and Tarik Ediz. We also offer exclusive and one of a kind dresses in store that are not available for online purchase.
Does Ashley Rene's offer alterations?
We do. Ashley Rene's works closely with a handful of seamstresses who work exclusively with our customers who purchased their dress from our store. The customer is responsible for the cost of any alterations that may be needed for the gown. We tell our customers to almost always expect to have some sort of alterations expense when purchasing a gown so you can get the best fit.
Do you have all the gowns pictured on your website in stock?
No, we have the entire collection shown from each designer pictured on our website. All items shown can be special ordered, please contact us for more information. We do have many gowns and cocktail dresses in stock from our designers and you can also search by "In Stock Only" and under item desciption, if you click on "Item Details" you can see which sizes/colors we have in stock in each style.
What does it mean if a dress is listed as quick delivery?
Quick delivery items are the most recent update of the designers inventory. Meaning, we can have this dress in hand for you in just a few days. Please contact us for more information.
